SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY.

ATI things went with a g/reat swing at the concert to seafarers on Tuesday at the Sailors' Friend Society. Much regret was expressed at the enforced absence of the hostess (Mrs. Jackson) through a bereavement. The performers were Mesdames E. Topp and Briton, Miss G. Hibberd, and Master E. Topp. Light refreshments were handed round. Mr. J. Moore, missioner, spoke in relation to temperance. The competitions were very popular. The prizes came from Mrs. Blair.
