TAXI-CAR CAPSIZED

COLLISION WITH CAR

A collision between a taxi-cab turning from Majoribanis street into Courtonay place, and a private motor-car going from Oriental Bay towards Cambridge terrace at the De Luxe Theatre corner at 845 o 'clock last evening, resulted in the taxi-cab being practically lifted off the ground and rolled over on its side. The roar part of the cab, which was driven by Boy Albert Jordan, and the front part of the ear, driven by Cecil Sylvester Willioms, were badly damaged. Although they suffered considerably from shock, the occupants of both ears had a remarkable escape from serious injury.'
