Indications that Cozens Spencer, ft former Australian film producer, lately a British Columbia rancher, drowned himself in a lake after slaying Eddie Smith, his storekeeper, wounding D. Stoddart, also an employee, caused a posse to abandon the search. Spencer came here three years ago with a fortune. : .
