FAIRIEL GOES ADVENTURING
The other night when the wind was quiet, I stole away from the King; And I found within r. city hall A simply marvellous thing. My runaway elves in a dim green wood
And in streets-of Ispahan: ""Wisp o' Mist" in tunic and hood . As a bearded little old man; "Prairie Flower" to come at her call, As old and as bent as she, And "Ragged Robin," a sunset child, In a dance of fantasy; .. "Microbe," a barber, proud and huge, In a scheming Eastern town; "Cabanda;",a lover of subterfuge, And a maid in a starlight gown; Wendy-girl was the Eastern maid, Cabanda. took her to wed; And home I. went, like the little boy, With the stars going round iii my head.
