DAMAGE BY FIRE

Slight damage was done to the contents of a tobacconist's shop and hairdressing saloon at 356, Lamb ton quay, by a fire which broke out at 7.37 last evening. The building, which is owned by Mrs. Christina Hall and occupied by Mr. Walter Unsworth, is a brick and wood one of one floor, and contains two rooms. The Tire Brigade was quickly on the scene and soon had the outbreak under control. The stock and fixtures are insured'in the Mercantile and General Insurance Co., Ltd., for £360. The insurance on the .building is not available.
