' Tho Legislative Council met at 2.30 p.m. to-day. The Chattered Associations (Protection of Names and Uniforms) Bill was introduced and read the .first time. Tho-Magistrates' Courts Amendment Bill was received from the House of Representatives and read the first-time. The Council-adjourned until the ringing of the bells.
