CHRISTCHURCH TRAMWAYS

CHRISTCHURCH, 26th August.

The Conciliation Council proceedings between the Christchurch Tramways Board and the Tramway Employees' Union ended to-day in an agreement. Both sides made concessions and agreed to embody tho agreement in a new award with a currency of five months. The agreement is an almost complete endorsement of the present award, with one concession to the union in respect of meal hour relief.
