ESPERANTO CLUB
THIRD ANNUAL MEETING
The third annual meetisg of the. Wellington Esperanto Club was held last evening, Mr.,E. C. Jack presiding.
The report and balance-sheet for the year ending 31st August, 1930, which was adopted, showed tho club to be in a very) satisfactory position. ■ j
The election of officers resulted in the unanimous return of the retiring executive, as- follows:—President, Mr. E. C. Jack; vice-president, Miss Coralie Smythson; treasurer, Mr. L. E. Dust; secretary,, jjlr. Bertram Potts. k A special resolution was -passed during j the meeting that two committee members bo added to the executive, and a ballot resulted in > the election of Mrs. C. Leek and Mrs. Bertram Potts. The thanks .of tho club are due to Mr. W. L. Edmanson, hon. life president, Mrs. A. Chapman-Taylor, and Mr. G. Gordon for donations, and to Mr. W. H. King for gervices.as hon. auditor.
