MAGISTRATE'S COURT
This morning's sitting of the Magistrate's Court was presided over by Mr. h. Page, S.M. One first offender for drunkenness, who did not appeal-, was convicted and fined the amount of his bail, 10s, and ordered to pay medical expenses amounting to 255. A further remand until 3rd September was granted in the case of Alexander Theodore Feun, who is charged with breaking and entering atJ.be Nurses Home, Wellington Public Hospital, and stealing a clock, a torch, and 2s 6d in money of a total value of £5 7s Od. Detective Jarrold said there were. other charges pending. Edith May -Kandell, alias M'Morran, a domestic, aged 40, was remanded for .i week on a charge of assaulting James
