MAORI LANDERS' ASSOCIATION.
The annual general meeting of tho Wellington Maqrilanders' (New Zealanders') Association is to take place at the R.S.A. Club room?, corner of Brandon arid Fentherston. streets, to-morrow, evening .at S o'clock. The business to .be dealt with includes the consideration of :tbe amuml.report aud balance-sheet; election ." of officers; the consideration of the r'econimendation of the Management Committee to affiliate with the New Zealanders' Association and to adopt its name; ihe recommendation to admit .as associate members any person who has resided in the Dominion f0r.25 years; and the formation of cub-branches in the Wellington provincial district. Members are reminded that the annual subscription is now due. The "New Zealand for New Zealanders" slogan of the association, and its invitation to support the country and- its industries by buying New Zealand goods has appealed to a large number of residents, and it is hoped that the next year of the association will be a particularly successful one.
