HALIFAX, 24th August.
The German airman, yon Gronau, was forced down by heavy rains at Queensport Harbour, Nova Scotia, at 3.45 p.m.! after crossing the Atlantic from Europei via Iceland and Greenland.
Fog compelled the descent of the captain and his three companions. Also their charts were not detailed sufficiently for them to make Halifax. They pro« eeed here probably on Monday morningl eh route for the United States. With the exception of the fog they expert? eneod no difficulty.
