A messago from Glendalc (California) states that it was announced today at the Pittßburg National Track and Field Championships that Prank Wykoff had broken his ankle. Paul Jessup (Seattle) threw tho discus IG9 feet 8 7-8 inches, a new world record. Tolan defeated Simpson in the hundred yards in 9 7-10 sec. Simpson defeated Tolan in tho 220 yards in 21 3-sscc (an American record). Steve Anderson (Seattle) equalled tho world record of 14 2-ssee for 120.
