During iin interval between races at the Hawkes Bay Hunt Meeting at Hastings last 'Saturday a number of two-year-olds were tent up tho straight. Tozie, a filly that claims fWllus-Prosy as her breeding, m°™d S'ttractivcly to lead in the first heat. _ Foi f,irl, by Cockpib-Huia Girl, is veijv nicely •imrned, and showed more pace than her tajponf-nts. Egila, another filly that claims Cockpit as sire, Actaegon, a really well-: Mown gelding'by Hunting Sonß-Crisis, irom tho successful Jefferd stable, also iifctraeted attention. Still another filly %.
