The second 36 holes qualifying round for both seniors and juniors was played on Saturday, and J. Burns .w.d T. R, Herd led their respective sections.

The draw is as follows: —Burns and Davis, byes; Mehaffey plays Brockett; Cody plays Radford; Barr plays Murray; Williams plays Harrower; Butler plays Pankhurst; Ogilvie plays Pope; Juniors— Herd Barnard; Forbes and Sherwood; and Hendry, byes. Haldane v. Dillon, Hegarty y. Smith, Robertson v. Farringtou. Seniors to play over 36 holes, juniors 18 holes, escept final, 36 holes. The 18-hole bogey was won by I. Davis (9), all square, and the 18-hole four-ball bogey was won by I. Davis (9) and A. Murray (8), 4 up, followed by J. Burns (7) and J. Forbes (14), 2 up. Only one game was played in the senior championship, Mehaffey beating Broekett, 6 and 4.
