The qualifying round for the senior and junior foursome competition on the Mornington links on Saturday result i as follows: Williams and Melvill, 87, 17—70; Fitt and Hoare, 89, 18—71; M'Kinnon and Henry, 90, 18—72; Flanagan and Sutherland, 91, 17-V7.4; Evans and Laycock, 93, 18 —75; M'Elligott" and Dawsori, 94, 18—76; Barton and M'Whirter, 95, 18—77. The following is the draw for the first round:—Williams and Melville v. Barton and M'Whirter; Donovan and Melvin v. Flanagan and Sutherland; M'Kinnon and Henry v. Adams and Laycock; Fitt and Hoare v. M'Elligott and Dawson. The first round will bo played in the morning, and the second round in the afternoon.
