PALMERSTON N., This Day. In the annual Rugby tournament between the primary school representatives of Wellington, Manawatu, Wanganuj', and Wairarapa, Manawatu defeated Wellington by 3 points to nil. B. Donaldson scored a try for the winners.

Wanganui beat Wairarapa by 43 points to 3. Tries were scored for WaDganni by Berry (2), Takarangi (2), Tukere (2), Pineha, Bailey, and Currie, the last-named con\-erting eight of the nine tries. Foster scored an unconverted try late in the match for Wairarapa.
