Miss Betty Herbert, The Terrace, is visiting Christchurch for the College Tournament.

Miss Betty Kember, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. Eric Diehl in Christchurch.

Mrs. Vivian Bhind, Pipitea street, is spending a few weeks at Heretaunga.

Miss Betty Brownjohn, Palmerston North, is the guest of Mrs. L. Evans, Lyall Bay.

Mrs. H. Buddie, Wellington, is a visitor to Christchurch at present.

Mrs. Charles Nichols, Wellington, who has been visiting Christchurch, is leaving to-day tojvisit Colonel and Mrs. J. Cowie Nichols; Kurepeka, Otago.

Lady Pomare, Western Hutt, arrived in Wellington this morning by the Makura, from San Francisco.

Mr. and Mrs. Athol Pearce, .Mangaweka, who have been staying with Mrs. George Pearce Lower Hutt, have returned home.

Miss Nora Hanron arrived in Wellington to-day by the Makura, from Rarotonga.

Miss Stops (England), organiser of the Women's Institutes in New Zealand, is at present visiting Wellington.

Miss Zaidee Nathan arrived in Wellington on Saturday from the North.

Mrs. A. Whitelaw, Wellington, was a passenger by the Makura arriving today.

Dr. and Mrs. C. R. Brewster, New Plymouth, arrived in Wellington to-day by the Makura, from San Francisco.
