PLAYERS TO PRACTISE
The teams for the Town r. Country match on Saturday will be selected from the following:— Country. Backs: Clarke, Murray, Armstrong, Chesterrnan, Martin (Eastbourne), Huxtable, Coman (Petone), Ross, Killeen (Hutt). Forwards: Gibbons, Read, J. Dellabarea, Price (Eastbourne), Lambourne, Spence, Pickard (Petone). Roberts, Shilton, Woods, R, Hinton (Hutt). Town. Backs: Cuming (M.). Broderick (M.), Robins (It.), Ramson (U.), Barrett (Pon.), Neal (Pon.), Mackenzie (U.), M'Donald (M.);. Austin (A.)". Julian (Pon.). Forwards: Mollier (B.), M'Donald (B.), Mason (B.), Hill (O.), Tasker (O.), Blacher (U.), Cormack (U.), Ward (A.), Butler (M.), Emerson (O.B.), Claridge (O.B.), Bydder (O.B.).
The country players will practise at the Petone gymnasium at 8 o'clock on Thursday evening, when Messrs. E. Roberts, E. Price, and Irvine will finalise the team.
The town players will train at the same time at the Poneke gymnasium, when the final team will be selected by Mr. W. J. Wallace.
