The Australian 1930.31 wool sales open in I'crth on 9th September. The season just closed was remarkable for a drop in the Australian average price for greasy wool sold of over Cd per pound as compared with last season's rates. For the twelve months ended 30th Juno last it amounted to £36,595,000, the reduction being approximately £25,000,000.
