TRENTHAM TRACK NOTES
Conditions were ideal for track work at Treutham this morning. All training was carried out on the tan with the exception of the two-year-olds, quite a number of whom were sprinted >>ver the new two-year-olcl track. Owing to the absence of pegs, however, it was impossible to time them. Historic and Buellona galloped five furlongs, covering half a mile in 53 sec. The Huntings Song—Oratress colt, who brought a record price at the last yearling sales, went two and a-half furlongs, showing plenty of dash. Eoyal Game and Kilmezzo were sent over five furlongs together, the latter finishing in front after running the half-mile in 51isec. Hynanna galloped seven furlongs in good style, working well and showing improvement. ' Lady Pam and Linoago covered five furlongs in company. The half-mile was done in 51see. Both Salt Pot and Arrowzone finished well after galloping half a mile, and showed improvement, particularly Arrowzone, who was recently acquired by a Wellington sportsman. Lady Kene is working nicely after a long spell from racing. She! and Pat's Boy went well togethor over half a mile. ,"'■..•■
