At a meeting of officials of the Games now in .progress here, it was decided to form a British Empire Sports Federation to consist of three representatives from each country in the Commonwealth of Nations with Mr. J. F. Wadmore, manager of the English team, as secretary-treasur-er, and with headquarters in London. Other officials will be named when the committee is formed. The new organisation will foster "little Olympics"! each four years, competitors to be eon-; fined to the Empire. All expressed the opinion that the Games should continue, and it is hoped that the new organisation will do much to foster athletics. South Africa and New Zealand have applied for the venue of tho Games in 1938, but no decision was made. The Federation intends to apply to i the various Governments and to appeal for tlieir financial and moral support. It is expected that the matter will be discussed at the Imperial Conference in London next month.
