"THE HOMELESS KITTEN"
There was once a kitten who, owing to its oiviior leaving the district, had no home. The poor little thing had to depend on anything it could find for food, and it began to look quite starved. One day it was going along a country road, and was feeling rather hungry when a little girl called him to her. Slip picked him up and took him to her iioinc. "Oh! Mummy, may I keep it?" she asked her mother. "Yes, if nobody owns it, dear," As nobody .seemed to own it, the little girl kept the kitten and sho called it "Toby;" Thus a once homeless kitten found a very welcome home. "ROSY CHEEKS." Kaiwarra.
