The Bank of New Zealand Produce Department has received the following advice from its London office as at close of business this week:—"The demand for wether mutton is steady, with a better outlook. The market for ewes is quiet and unchanged. The .demand for lamb still continues, but is not quite so brisk, and there is a weaker tendency. There is a fair demand for beef. Trade is affected by the holidays."
