The Peninsular and Oriental • steamer Bazmak, which is at present engaged in the Indian trade is to replace the. Tahiti in the company's' trans-Pacific trade. There is ample general cargo, space, with 40,000 cub'ie feet of insulated space in addition.

The Razniak is 10,857 tons, . and therefore larger than the Tahiti, and she is a Harland and Wolff f'job," built in 1925. Her dimensions are 500.4 ft in length, 63.2 ft 'beam, 34ft depth. The Union Company intends that the Kazmak shall take up the Tahiti's November sailing.
