WIRELESS INSTALLATION

CHRISTMAS BOX FOR PORIRUA

The Minister of Health, tho Hon.. A. J. Stallworthy, has been assisting .ia the organisation of a voluntary1 scheme to provide a complete wireless installation, of the most modern type throughout the Porirua Mental Hospital. It is expected that the installation will be ready as a "Christmas box" to patients and staff, without one penny of cost to tho Government. . Particulars will be announced in a few days, but it may be stated that the installation, will cost not less than £4000. It is expected that the money, will be raised in a week, after the preliminary organisation is completed, it is also stated that similar efforts may follow in other centres.
