JOHNSONVILLE SALE.
-Messrs.-Wright, • Stephenson, and Co,, £^td.,.a_d Abraham and AVilliams, Ltd., report on Johnsonville sale held yesterday, as follows:—AVe submitted an average jar ding, of all'classes of stock to the usual attendance of. the public. Heavy prime rattle were in good demand at last week's i»tes,. but .lighter . and plain sorts were Aot sort after, showing a decline- of at feast 15s to; £1 per. head. Cows met with g, good'sale. The larger : proportion of-the sheep yarding comprised wethers. Light and medium-weight wethers met' with a good demand at last week's rate., heavyweight sheep being dull of sale. Ewes were not in demand, prices showing a decline on last week's rates. Lambs sold freely at late rates. We quote: Heavy bullocks, £16 10s, £16 7s 6d, £16 2s 6d, «16; bullocks, £15 17- 6d, £15 10s, £15 fe 6d; light bullocks, £14, £13 10s, £13 &>, £12 10s„ £12; cows. £11, £9 15s, £9; heavy wethers, 32s 6d, 31s. 30s 9d: Wethers, 295, 27s 6d, 275, 26s 9d; light and £ "nished, 24. 9d, 24s 6d, 245; ewes. 20s, 9d, Iftf 6d, 19s; lambs, 22s 6d, 22s 3d,
