THE WEATHER OUTLOOK

During the past twenty-four hours pressure has risen ovor the Dominion with the advance of,an anti-cyclone, and light to moderate winds, varying from north-west to south-west, have predominated.. The weather has been fair to cloudy in most parts, but some scattered rain has fallen in western districts, and in the far north and south. Fog has also been reported at a few places. AH the chief centres experienced fair to cloudy and mild weather yesterday. Dmiodin"l)ad light rain last night. The forecast is for light to moderate variable winds, with northorlies prevailing south of Cape Egmont and Napier. The weather should be mainly fair, with some isolated showers, more especially in western districts from Taranaki southwards. Moderate temperatures are forecasted.
