The Department of Health has received the following notifications of infectious diseases in the hospital districts of the Wellington health district for the week ended yesterday (the figures for the previous week being given in parentheses) :— Wanganui-Horowhenua.—Scarlet fever, 1 (Z); diphtheria, 0 (2); puerperal fever, 0 Wairarapa-Hawkes Bay.—Scarlet fever, 2 (4)' pneumonic influenza, 1 (0); pneumonia, 2 (1); diphtheria, 0 (6); tuberculosis, 0 (2); erysipelas, 0(1). Central Wellington.—Scarlet fever, 2 (8); diphtheria, 8 (6); tuberculosis, 2 (2); pneumonia, 3 (8); erysipelas, 1 (0) monic influenza, 0 (1). Nelson-Marlborough.—Scarlet fever, 2 (2); tetanus, 1 (0); tuberculosis, 0 (2): ■pneumonic influenza, 0 (1); pneumonia, 0 il). _^_
