AN ABSENTEE BANKRUPT
A meeting of the creditors of W. Withers, a builder, of Wellington, was held at the office of the Official Assignee (Mr. S. Tansley) this morning,, but the bankrupt did not put in an appearance, nor had he forwarded any papers relating to his insolvency, and the meeting accordingly lapsed.
The Official Assignee is taking steps to locate the present whereabouts of the bankrupt.
