With ,a. view to stuivulatiug creative activity and encouraging the useful occupation of the boys, the' Wellington V.M.C.A. is promoting a,boys' hobby competition and exhibition. This will take place on 3rd, 4th, and sth September, and entries for the various sections are.invited from all boys, irrespective of -whether they are V.M.C.A. in embers or not. The various sections in the competition include* meccano models, radio, woodwork, photogrv phy, drawings nnd pamtiiigs, historical and geographical models, scientific apparatus collections, etc., ; etc. Entries for. the competition close to-morrow.
