AMY'S NEW 'PLANE
HANDED OVERIN HYDE PARK : (Eeceived 18th August, 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, 17th August.' An enormous crowd at Hyde Part witnessed the handing over of the gift aeroplane to Miss Amy, Johnson. Sir Sefton Brancker sail that he was proud, to present a 'plane subscribed by the public, and was stirred with enthusiasm at tha magnitude of the enterprise. After the ceremony Amy climbed into the 'plane and waved her hand to the cheering crowd.
