CLOSED RAILWAY LINES (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) INVEBCABGILL, 17th August. A flecisioa to hold a monster indignation meeting of all public bodies in Southland and others interested to protest against the action of the Minister of Railways in closing certain branch lines in the province was made at a meeting of the Southland executive of the Farmers' Union on Saturday.
