There have been many pulpit refer* enees to the Lambeth Conference. Canon Donaldson, of "Westminster Abbey, described the report as one of tho highest delivered since the Reformation. Christian teaeheis are looking to Lambeth for vision and counsel. The Bishops bravely faced the burning question of birth control and have given a limited approval while condemning,our horrible neglect of sex and education for children in order to lift sex from the mire in which it haa laid for generations." On the contrary the Sector of ona City church gave a message to the congregation publicly expressing abhorrence and entire repudiation of, the lamentable sanction of the deadly sin of contraception. Father 'WofMtloek, of 3?arm Street Eoman Catholic Church, vigorously protested against Lambeth's birth control resolution. Catholics recognised only self-control aiid continence as lawful for the limitation of families, .
