LONDON, 3rd August. William Eaoburn, of Medieino Hat, Canada, arriving in London with his wife, went to a restaurant with £200 in Canadian money. Tho proprietress, however, refused to accept payment in this coin, and Baeburn paid for tho meal with a. sovereign which he had l>oen keeping to show Ms father, who gave it to him when ho left Edinburgh ISO years ago.
