RESULTS AT WANGANUI

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ; WANGANUI, 17th August. The West Coast harrier championship was decided on Saturday afternoon in fine weather, the race finishing, on, Spriggens Park during .'the half time period of the Rugby representative match. The first man home was H. Brown, of New Plymouth, who was followed 20 seconds later by K. Johnston, of the Wanganui "A" team. The following^were the times of the first three men:—H.'J. Brown (New Plymouth "A"), 39min 35sec, 1; K. Johnston (Wanganui "A"), 40min 40sec, 2; C. Weller (Wanganui "A"), 40min 50sec, 3. The "teams' event was won by Wanganui "A," with SO points, New Plymouth "A" being second with 21 points. " ;
