Following a fine, clear night, experts predict fairly good weadaer for the period of the Test match, with only occasional showers. Parker's form against Surrey, when he took, in all, fifteen wickets for 91 runs, combined with the likelihood of unsettled weather for several days, makes his selection for the Test practically certain. Wyatt in a match against Somerset made only three and two. • Whysall has reached his 2000 runs this season.
