X loo.—The first company of the 65th Regiment landed In Wellington on 22nd July, 1846, by the barquo "Levant," from Sydney. A portion of the 05th landed In Auckland on 20th March, 1847, and the whole regiment was assembled at Drury (South of Auckland), hi 1563, that being tlio first occasion since 1545, when It left Dublin, that the comploto regiment had . reassembled. It left New Zealand betiveou January and March, 18GG. It Is very doubtful whether a portion of the regiment ever camped at Lyall Bay.
