WRESTLING

HOGG v. M'DOUGALL

For the first time, since he has wrestled in this country "fccotty" M'Dougall will be up against a man weighing more than himself when he meets Walter Hogg at the Town Hall on Monday night. Hogg weighs Hst 71b—about 51b more' than M'Dougall, and the pair will b the heaviest seen in action in a professional bout in the city for some years. Hogg, who was bom in Wellington, went to America at an early age, and wo., a large number of matches. He visited Australia in 1924, and made good, meeting M'Dougall, Santel, and others of wrestling fame. M'Dougall states that Hogg is the hardest matman he has ever opposed. There should be a big crowd present at the match, because wrestling enthusiasts are keen to see the young Xew Zealander in action. Both men are very strong, and M'Dougall will have to be all out from the start to beat Hogg. There is a certain fascination about seeing big men in action, especially men like M'Dougall, who right from the opening gong forces the pace. The booking at The Ritz tobacconist shop in Manners street is heavy.
