LOW RETURNS FROM WOOL
MELBOURNE, 15th August. The final statistics of marketing operations relating to the Australian wool clip show that while the exports for 1928-29 brought in fifty-five millions sterling, this year's exports returned only twenty-eight millions. The average price per bale for all greasy wool was £13 2s lid, which is the lowest since 1914.
