Hi Driver^ M.8., Ch.B., and Mrs. E.K. Driver J ..:B.!sc. (o£ Jammalamadwgu, S. India),, and. Mist Inglis, M.A. (Erode, S. India): • Commencing with services to-morrow in the Congregational Churches of the n\Wi ;toeetinga will be held each evening untiLThursday, when the final, meeting of: the; series will be held in the Terrace Qosgregational Church. The visiting missionaries will lecture principally on the present Indian situation, with particular reference to the growing movement in. that, country for greater freedom. All who "are. interested in India should attend these, meetings.
An amendment has-been made by tha Local Bills Committee of the-House efi Bepresentatives to the .Wellington City Exhibition Grounds Amendment Bill. A provision has been inserted-that no servant of the association shall be concerned or interested (otherwise than as a member of an incorporated company in which tlioro arc more than, twenty members and of \yhich lie is not the ge»» oral manager )?;in any-contract jnade b* the association except in respect 6t hit service or as an exhibitor. .
