1 The helpers at the Sailors' 'Friend Society's concert on Thursday were rewarded with loud and: long applause and demands for encores. -;- ■ Mrs. James Moore was .hostess. ■■• The-performers were Mesdames Aplin and Ivor Wilson, Misses M. Light; refreshments were handed round in an interval. The prizes for the competitions-came from Mesdames Wilson and Alpinei.atid.M'SS.M. Moore.
