It is possible that the collection of early films and moving picture equipment which took Mr. Will Day, of London, 30 years to collect may be purchased by American interests. The first vfilm ever exhibited is in the . collection—one of M. Trewey juggling with a hat—and also the first film ever taken, a scene in Hyde Park, by Mr. W. Friese Green. The films of the Royal family, including those of King Edward (then Prince of Wales) at the Derby in 1896, and others showing Queen Victoria and the present King when a little boy have an historical interest which it is difficult te «a«**
