TALLOW SALES.

LONDON, 13th August. Tallow sales: 1259 casks were offered and 763 were sold. Quotations: Mutton, fine 31s, medium.2ss; 6d; beef, fine 355, medium 25a 6d. ; ■■.'".'.■
Tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Co. reports:."Tallow: We quote present e.i.f. and c. values for the following descriptions of tallow:—Fine mutton, 31s per cwt; goofi beef; 30s; mixed, 30s. Prices have advanced since 31st July 6d on fine mutton, Is on beef, misted unchanged.
The Bank of New Zealand (Produce Department) has received the following advice from its London office, under date 13th August:—"Tallow.—There is a fair demand. Current quotations: Good mutton, 29s per cwt; good beef, 28s to 28s 0d; good mixed, 28s; gut, 22» to 20b." Messrs. Dalgety and Co. report, London, 13t!i August:—"Tallow: 1250 casks offered, 750 casks sold. Fine mutton, 31s per cwt; good mixed, 28s per cwt; inferior, 25s per cwt. As compared with last sales, tallow ie Is per cwt higher, except fine mutton, which is mnehanged/'
