He was averaging about seven hours a day on the ground, and I would like to move a special vote of thanks to him."
Major T. J. King seconded the motion, endorsing Mr. Griffitbs's remarks. The chairman, Mr. J. Prendeville,- .also spoke very highly of the work put in by Mr. Murphy. Speaking as a headmaster, Mr. W.J. Melody said that he would like "to congratulate Mr. Murphy .on the provision made for the schoolboys, who greatly appreciated the splendid opportunity provided of seeing the match.
Iv returning thanks, Mr. Murphy said that he had his reward in the fact that all who went to see the game had « good view of it, and he had heard no complaints. My. Prendeville said that the union ojrerl ;i debt o fgratitudo to all the club officials, aad to the Junior Advisory Committee For the assistance given in controlling the crowd, and personally, ho owed a debt of gratitude to nil the .members of the committee.
