Miss Dyer, Technical Inspector (Educatioiv Department) is at present at Thames. She expects to be back in Wellington ou Saturday. Mrs. W. J. Hunter, who came to Wellington to meet Mr. Hunter when he arrived by the Tahiti from Sydney, has returned to Christchurch. Mrs. R. Pearson and Miss Joyce Pearson, Kclburn, are leaving by tho Maunganui. on Friday for Sydney and Melbourne. Mrs. Oswald Nelson and Miss Jean Nelson, Hawkcs Bay, have been spending a week's holiday in Wellington. Miss Helen Veitch, Gisborne, is a visitor to Wellington. . ' Misses M. and D. Sutherland, at their residence, "Homewood," Karori, tomorrow, the visitors' last night in New Zealand. The chairman \itv. J. I. Goldsmith), at a meeting of the Electors' Association at Brooklyn, referred to the recent sad death of Mrs. Arrowsmii-U, who had been a willing worker in tho public functions of Brooklyn for some years. It was resolved to send a letter of condolence to Mr. Arrowsinith and family deeply sympathising with them iv their bereavement.
