HARRIER CHAMPIONSHIPS
Various details in connection with the Wellington provincial and New Zealand cross-country championships, to be held at Hutt Park Racecourse this month, were dealt with at last evening's meeting of the Wellington Amateur Athletic Centre. It was reported that Mr. F. B. Silver had presented a cup for the individual winner of the provincial championship on Saturday. . Several remits to be presented to the conference of harrier delegates, to'be held prior to the New Zealand cross-country championship were submitted by the Wellington Harrier Sub-committee. One was . that the conference should recommend to the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Council that a New Zealand team should be sent to Australia in 1931.
