Since yesterday barometers have remained below normal, though fairly uniform over the Dominion, and this morning a slight low centre was located off the east coast of the North Island. Winds have continued to be light to moderate generally, westerlies still prevailing in North Auckland, variables elsewhere, but south-easterlies mainly in the . central provinces. Cloudy and misty conditons have persisted with rain at times in most districts, and some heavy falls at places in the North Island. Caatiepoint reports having had 507 points. In addition to the previous day's fall of 32-1 points.
