(Received 11th August, 11 a,m.)
LONDON, 10th Aupst.
The Lambeth Conference has elgsecL An encyclical letter will be issued embodying the conclusions. The AreTSof "Fork at the final sessioa * voiced the gratitude of the delegatei to tlie Archbishop of Canterbury for presiding for five weeks. It was intimated that the three hundred Bishops present desire to present a pastoral staff for tho use of the Archbishop in the dio<sese of Canterbury.
The "Morning Post's" special representative says that, although effort! were mads by a minority of bishppg ta secure a pronouncement on the, subject of With control, it is unlikely that more than a passing reference will appear in an encyclical to the effieet that the extent of the practice among church pepple practically does not call for notice.
