BOYS' HOBBY COMPETITION.
With a view to stimulating ■ creative activity and encouraging the useful occupation of the leisure of boys, tho WeN Hiiu'ton V.M.C.A. is promoting a Boys Hobby Competition and Exhibition. Tins will take place on 3rd, 4th, Cid sth September, and entries for tin: various sections fire invited from all boys, whether V.M.C.A membe.s or not. The va.'ious .sections in the competition include meccano, nicchnniral models, radio, woodwork, photography, drawings, and paintings, historical" and jjoographical models. .s<.-u?uti(ic apparatus, collections, etc., etc. Various business firms ;md private citizens arc donating prizes, and no charge is being made for entries. Entries close on Wednesday, 20th August, and the V.M.C.A. will be pleased to give full particulars to boys and parents of boys regarding tho competition.
