A HISTORY OF THE TOUR
An interesting history of the British team's tour, and one which will probably remain unique in view of the fact that many of tho sources of information have since gone out of publication, has been compiled by the local representatives of Hamer and Co.
The history has been compiled from Press cuttings and photographs which have been pasted in a volume of 250 pages, of approximately royal quarto size, bound in the tQuring team's colours. Tho tour is covered from the timo of tho early announcements regarding the players provisionally selected, a year before tho team was to sail, and the compilation will not be completed until after tho players disband.
There are sixteen copies and each is individualistic, containing special references to tho particular tourist into whoso possession it will pass. One is being presented by, tiio New ' Zealand Rugby Union to Mr. James Baxter, the team's manager, and the others will bo taken by members of tho team.
